VEHICLE COLLISION: Elderly Driver Dies in San Jacinto Collision while Making U-Turn

San Jacinto - A 51-year-old female driver died when she collided with a pickup truck after making a sudden U-turn along the Ramona Expressway, said reports.
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the elderly driver identified as Dorothy Ann Woodcockteaney, from Chino, was moving east when she made an unexpected U-turn along Alessandro Avenue at around 1:30 pm.
When she swerved to the left, her Chevrolet Cavalier was hit by an eastbound Ford F-150 pickup that was moving behind her. The impact caused the two vehicles to move towards the dirt shoulder.
Reports said the elderly driver died while her female passenger was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley to receive immediate medical treatment for major internal injuries.
The pickup driver identified as James Ray, 23, from Hemet, was not injured in the collision.
