CAR ACCIDENT: Early morning crashes caused traffic on 57 Freeway

Brea - Several car accidents have been reported along 57 Freeway which caused heavy traffic yesterday.
The first one was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 4:47 a.m. A Honda Civic went off the side of the southbound lane of 57, near Imperial Highway. A person died on the scene, according to CHP officer Denise Quesada.
Early morning, at around6:21 a.m., a crash involving a Honda Accord and a motorcycle was also reported. The crash happened also on the southbound lane, near Tonner Canyon Road.
The third accident was reported shortly after the Tonner Canyon incident. It involved a big rig and another vehicle, which occurred at East Imperial Highway, still along the southbound of 57. No injuries were reported.
The last crash happened at 8:53 a.m. on the northbound lane, north of West Orangethorpe Avenue. A Toyota Tacoma turned on its side. The driver of the said car was taken to the hospital.
Lanes on 57 Freeway were eventually cleared of accidents by around 9:51 a.m.
