DUI INCIDENT: Drunk Driver Involve in Two Separate Car Crashes in One Night

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA --- A 21-year-old male driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) was involved in a hit-and-run crash, and five minutes after, in a violent collision, reports said.

According to authorities, the first occurrence took place near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue at about 12:40 a.m. while the second incident transpired at Vine and Yucca streets.

The latter accident has killed Los Angeles stand-up comedian Angelo Bowers and severely injured his fellow comedian, Josh Adam Meyers.

Authorities are working on the possible charges to be filed against the suspect, while Meyers is recovering from his injuries.
