Driver Sought in Fatal Hit-and-Run of an Elderly

MONTEBELLO - Authorities are now looking for the man who reportedly ran over an 84-year-old woman who was walking her dog Monday night.

Norma Lambo was walking on the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Alfred Place at around 6 pm when she was hit by a white Chevrolet Silverado with chrome rims and bumper which was severely damaged because of the crash.

Lambo died at the scene as did her dog.

Witnesses recounted the driver as a man who is about 30-40 years old, wearing a white top and possibly a Latino. He had a moustache and a goatee, his hair appeared to be straight and combed from the back, and has brown eyes.
