Driver Runs Red Light, Hits Van

San Diego – An unidentified pick-up driver who ran a red light Thursday morning was injured after hitting a van and flipping over in Little Italy.

Reports indicate that the pick-up truck was heading west on Ash street at around 9:30 am when he ran a red light on Kettner Boulevard and hit a southbound van.

The driver of the pick-up reportedly sustained serious hand injuries. Authorities continue to investigate other factors that could have led to the crash.
