HIT-AND-RUN: Driver Flees after Fatally Hitting Elderly Woman in Hemet

Hemet- A driver has fled after fatally hitting a 77-year-old woman along Acacia Avenue near Thompson Street on July 6, said reports.

According to authorities, the woman was hit by a Ford Windstar van while on her way to her sister’s house.

Authorities believe that Salvador Almanza, 47, from Hemet, was the one driving the van when the accident occurred. They have not yet located the man’s whereabouts.
