VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Driver Dead, Passenger Injured after Pickup Crashes into Tree in Fullerton

Fullerton - A 22 year-old pickup driver died while his 26-year-old male passenger sustained injuries after their vehicle crashed into a tree, said police.

According to reports, the solo-vehicle crash occurred along Target Way and Malvern Avenue at around 1:47 a.m.

The Nissan Titan pickup driver was moving west along Malvern when he suddenly swerved off the road and crashed into a tree.

Reports said he was announced dead at the accident area. Meanwhile, his passenger sustained minor injuries.

Authorities have not yet determined if alcohol or weather conditions was involved in the fatal crash.
