HIT and RUN ACCIDENT: Driver Arrested for Hit-and-Run that injured Bicyclist
November 18, 2010
Tustin – The driver of a red Mustang suspected of hitting and seriously injuring a motorcyclist Wednesday night has been arrested, authorities said Thursday.
Reports indicate that the man was implicated by witnesses who saw the California plate and describe the vehicle that hit a 23-year-old driver in the intersection of Walnut and Browning Avenues at around 7:30 pm.
The driver reportedly did not stop to assist the bicyclist who sustained serious head injuries. His condition remained critical Thursday.
The Mustang driver was arrested around midnight of Wednesday.
