CAR CRASH: Driver Abandons Car after Crashing into a Sacramento House

Sacramento - An unidentified driver ran away after crashing the car he was driving onto a house which wrecked the exterior of the house owned by Sharon Santos. at 3300 Lynn way on Thursday at around 11:00 p.m..
According to investigator, the owner of the vehicle had asked a stranger to drive him home, when he felt he was too drunk and tired to drive after spending the evening at a bowling alley.
California Highway Patrol investigators said that the owner of the car made a right choice of not committing drunk driving, however, he now faces the responsibility of settling the hit and run case.
Santos said she was inside her house when she heard the crash
.“After living in this corner for 10 years and hearing lots of accidents, I knew this one sounded different. It felt like our whole house shook. I knew instantly a car had hit our house," Santos said.
The car owner failed to remember the name of the driver. CHP investigators continue to search for the driver.
