PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Deputy Driving Without Siren Kills Two Pedestrians

Bakersfield – Two people died spot after being hit by the sheriff deputy driving without his sirens on, reports said.

According to police investigators, the two pedestrians were walking a motorcycle transversely from the street when they were fatally struck by the deputy.

Reports added that the victims were identified as the 30-year-old Chrystal Jolley and 24-year-old Daniel Hiler. The name of the suspect is yet to be released.

Sherry Bowden, a witness of the accident, has stated that the suspect was driving fast at 60 mph downwards the road path and did not have the proper warning devices on to indicate that he was approaching.

Officers said that investigations are still ongoing for the accident.
