Dad Dies in a Car Crash; Daughter Survives after Two Days of Being Seat-belted

NORTH CAROLINA -- Jordan Landon, nine, was able to survive amid being trapped in a vehicle for 43 hours after a car crash, reports said.

According to authorities, the child was eating a Pop Tarts and Gatorade when she was rescued.

The accident happened at around 10 p.m. on Friday and the rescue took place on Sunday evening.

Her 39-year-old father, Douglas Landon, died due to his sustained injuries. Authorities are still uncertain of the cause of the crash.
