The driver was identified as Kirklan Harris, 42, of San Dimas.

According to Glendora police Lt. Brian Summers, the incident began on Foothill Boulevard near Amelia Avenue at about 4:45 p.m., when an officer spotted a speeding pickup truck.

Harris refused to pullover and led the police on a chase for about a mile at speeds up to 90mph before he collided with two parked cars and a tree in a front yard, Summers said.

Harris surrendered after without further incident.

He was booked on suspicion of felony evading and driving under the influence, Summers added.
