CAR ACCIDENT: Chain Crash Traps Driver at Highway 99 in Bond

Sacramento - A motorist was trapped inside his vehicle after a chain collision along northbound Highway 99 in Bond.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, the vehicle was moving northbound of H-99 at around 7:45 a.m. when the driver lost control of it.
The vehicle then crashed into another vehicle and caused a secondary collision, causing the driver to be trapped inside the vehicle for minutes.
Paramedics arrived shortly at the scene and pulled the driver out of the crashed vehicle. Rescuers transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
CHP officers blocked H-99 northbound lanes, but they were reopened at around 8:30 a.m.
Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
