VEHICLE COLLISION: Bus-Car Collision Injures Three in Pasadena

November 16, 2010

Los Angeles – At least three people have been hospitalized after a bus and a car collided at an intersection in Pasadena Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Reports indicate that the westbound Los Angeles Department of Transportation bus and the Nissan Maxima that was heading north collided at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Cordova Street at about 7:30 am.

The collision sent the Maxima spinning as the bus swerved, hit a tree, and before it rested propped up at the side of an apartment building.

The driver of the Maxima was injured and rescuers had to extricate the driver and a passenger of the bus. All three were hospitalized after sustaining moderate injuries.
