Brush Clearing Worker Killed in a Workplace Accident Caused by Wood Chipper
January 13, 2012Nevada City, CA – A brush removal worker in Nevada City was killed in an apparent workplace accident caused by a wood chipper, reports claimed.
According to Sheriff’s deputies of Nevada County, the yet unidentified worker was cutting branches and removing debris with an industrial-sized wood chipper when he got tangled and fell directly into the machine.
Co-workers of the deceased employee have said that they heard loud scream when the accident took place.
Latest reports said that the worker was pronounced dead on the accident scene.
