BOAT ACCIDENT: Bonelli Regional Park Lake Boat Crash Claims Three Lives, Injures Four Others

San Dimas - At least three persons died and four others were injured when a personal watercraft carrying three women passengers and a powerboat about 20-foot tall, crashed together close to 250 Puddingstone Drive at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, reports said.

The three women who died on the spot came from the same family and their identities were not yet revealed while the four others from the boat all sustained injuries; three of them were brought to the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. The fourth person who suffered from minor injuries was taken to another hospital.

According to police officials the accident is under investigation but they ruled out the possibility of intoxication. They suspect that the two vehicles entered a turn at the same time although the speeds of both vehicles remain unknown.
