BICYLE-CAR COLLISION: Bicyclist Hospitalized after Colliding with Car in Fullerton

Fullerton - A female bicyclist was hospitalized after she collided with a car along an intersection, said police.

The accident occurred along the intersection of Malvern Avenue and Euclid Street at around 11:30 a.m.

Reports said the woman was moving southbound along Euclid when she suddenly collided with a Ford that was moving westbound along Malvern.

According to authorities, the bicyclist suffered from cuts and a likely broken arm. She received immediate medical treatment at the accident area before being rushed to UCI Medical Center.

The woman was not wearing helmet at the time of the crash, but she was not severely injured in it.

Police said it seemed that the Ford had a green light at the time of the crash.
