BICYCLE ACCIDENT: Bicyclist Dies after Colliding with Runner in San Joaquin Valley

San Joaquin Valley- A male bicyclist, who works as a teacher in Visalia, died after colliding with a runner near Spruce Road, said reports.
The bicyclist was identified by his colleagues as 41-year-old Scott Nelson, from Visalia.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, the bicyclist was moving west along Rocky Hill Road when he encountered a runner identified as 14-year-old Alvaro Cortez, from Exeter.
Authorities said Nelson started to overtake Alvaro, who was running along the same direction, when the teen turned to his left, causing the two to collide.
Reports said the bicyclist died while the runner sustained minor injuries in the incident.
