PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Accidental Acceleration Kills Man in Parking Lot

Tarzana – A man walking into a 7-Eleven store was fatally injured after being hit by a woman who accidentally stepped on her gas pedal Monday night, reports said.

The woman was reportedly driving at the store’s parking lot at Burbank and Reseda Boulevard at around 9pm when she unintentionally accelerated her vehicle and killed the man.

Authorities investigated on the scene for at least five hours and they did not suspect alcohol or drugs as the cause of the accident.
