Bus Accident: 6 people killed, 34 injured in Greyhound bus accident

Fresno - —At least six people were killed and about 34 passengers were injured in Greyhound bus crash on Highway 99 on Thursday at 2:15 a.m.
The six victims died instantly after the accident while four other people were in critical condition when a Greyhound bus collided with a rolled over SUV in Fresno, reports said.
The Greyhound bus was heading northbound of Highway 99 when it crashed onto an overturned SUV, and hit another vehicle. The three vehicles hauled towards an embankment; the bus ended up hitting a huge eucalyptus tree.
The bus driver and two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. A person in the SUV died shortly after the crash along with two other people.
The Greyhound bus had its itinerary from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The bus had 35 total passengers. Rescuers rushed the injured passengers to Community Regional Medical Center.
The bus driver was identified as James Jewett of Sacramento. The other victims were identified as Sylvia Garay of Fresno, Ephifania Solis of Madara, Gonzalez of Fresno, Tomas Ponce, Vanessa Gonzalez of Fresno, and Stephanie Cordoba of Fresno.
Police authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
