6- Car Crash Leaves 2 People under Critical Condition

Orange County, CA - Two people sustained critical injuries after being involved in a 6-car collision in Huntington Beach.
Six vehicles were involved in the accident at Newland Street and Warner Avenue, at the border of Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach. A Honda sedan traveling east smashed with a northbound Toyota pickup along the intersection.
Four other vehicles were struck along the intersection.
According to Lt. Mike Reynolds of the Huntington Beach Police Department, Ohannes Yaghjian, 83, resident of Huntington Beach, was brought to UCI Medical Center in Orange by helicopter. Thomas Jepeway, 56, resident of Fountain Valley, was also brought to the same hospital. The two are under a critical condition.
According to police, the cause of the accidents is still being investigated, but it does not appear to be alcohol related.
