VEHICLE ACCIDENT: 52-year-old Man Struck by SUV in Hit-and-Run Accident in Stockton

San Diego – A 52-year old man was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Stockton yesterday night, the San Diego police said.
Authorities are now searching for the driver of a black or dark colored SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Expedition as described by witnesses.
Once found, the driver may be prosecuted for leaving the scene of the accident.
The incident occurred at about 7:10pm when a 52-year-old man was struck by the westbound SUV as he was crossing Market Street near 32nd Street.
According to reports, the victim was wearing dark clothing and was not in a crosswalk when the collision happened.
The man was brought to a nearby hospital where he is expected to recover.
