CAR CRASH: 23-Year-Old Man Killed After Slamming Car into a Tree in San Jose
March 29, 2010
San Jose – A single car crash in San Jose has killed a 23-year-old man last night after he lost control of his car and slammed into a tree.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Daniel Stanislaw from San Jose.
According to San Jose Police, the accident occurred at about 6:50 when Stanislaw crashed his vehicle into a tree then rolled over twice near the intersection of Fruitdale and South Bascom Avenues.
Investigators believe that Stanislaw may have been moving in high speed while turning left from Del Mar into the westbound lane of Fruitdale and that may have caused him to lose control.
Investigators also believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Stanislaw was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Stanislaw was alone in his car and nobody else was hurt in the crash.
