Rowland Heighs - Authorities have reported the death of a two-year old girl apparently from a drowning accident as the body was found in the swimming pool of a Rowland Heights home by a family member.

Investigators said the accident occurred at 2200 block of Deepgrove Avenue at around 7:20 pm last Friday. Family members tried to revive the child but failed in their attempts.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene brought the victim to St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
