PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: 12-Year Old Girl Killed on Riverside Freeway

Riverside – A pedestrian accident happened Sunday when a 12-year old girl who was picking up scattered clothes along the westbound Riverside (60) freeway was struck and killed, reports said.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer Z. Wenger has said that the victim, identified as Eunice Flores, was hit by a white Mercedes east of the Ontario (15) freeway shortly after 11 PM.

The 12-year old from Riverside had been trying to pick up clothes after they fell out of a suitcase that is tied to the roof of a car.

According to reports, the body was found in the third lane from the left. She was pronounced dead by the coroner at exactly 11:15 PM.

The driver of the Mercedes was not cited, reports said.
