Car accident: 1 injured after car-sheriff bus accident on 110 Freeway

Los Angeles - A car driver was injured after colliding with a sheriff bus on 110 Freeway on Friday at 7:04 a.m.

A car was heading southbound on 110 Freeway when it crashed onto a sheriff bus.

The car hauled over an embankment and toppled.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, reports said. Details on the injuries remained undisclosed.

Police said that the car was seen as running out of control when it hit the bus' side and rolled over.

Los Angeles Sheriff's Department commented that the bus was carrying a prisoner when the accident happened.
