CAR CRASH: 1 Dead, 1 Injured in Salinas Car Accident

Salinas – A man was killed and another one was injured Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot accident on Abbott Street in Salinas, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, a tow truck worker was working in the area at around 3:10 pm when a vehicle headed south veered off the road and hit him. The man died at the accident scene.

Reports said the victim was working in a USA Towing tow truck when the incident happened.

Meanwhile, the driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital trauma center. Witnesses said the driver appeared to have a seizure before his vehicle veered off the road.
